Here's what the 2007 Book Club was all about:
Reading is a great way to travel to new worlds, It's really easy. Read for 5 hours and get an adult to sign your gamecard to show you've done it. Bring it in to the library and get it stamped by us and we'll give you a lucky dip in to our suitcase of prizes. You've earned the party ticket when you get to 20 hours and we can give you all four stamps.
So I've read 20 hours. What do I do now?
Awesome. Well done. Get your parent or guardian to sign on your gamecard that you have reached eachof the 5, 10, 15 and 20 hours reading stages. Your due for a prize! Come in to the library and get it stamped by us - then you'll have you very own ticket to our grand finale party!
When and where is the party?
It's on Sunday 3 February 2007 from 6.15pm - 8.00pm. Come down to the Naenae Pool, Everest Street, Naenae. We're keeping the party a real surprise. Last year we had over 200 kids and lots of really fun stuff to do. Check back to this page in late January ... We'll give you some clues then.
Can I bring a friend?
You can bring your mum, dad or whoever looks after you. If you've got a friend who is keen, get them to join the Book Club too - it's so easy!

Summer 2006/7 reward party....
Wow! The Far Flung Adventures party was great! We had a lot of fun. Hope you did too...
Over 585 readers joined the adventure from all the Hutt City Libraries and over 200 readers completed the 20 hours of to get to the party. Well done!
